LED Lighting Retrofits

Commercial LED lighting retrofits in LA & Orange County

Lights in offices, warehouses, parking garages and common areas often run for long hours, so older lamps add to utility bills and maintenance. LED retrofits replace them with efficient LED technology that uses less energy and lasts longer, so your maintenance team changes lamps far less often. We also serve homeowners.

  • Less electricity used for the same amount of light
  • Fewer lamp changes and less maintenance in hard-to-reach fixtures

FAQ

LED lighting retrofits questions

How much energy do LEDs save?

LEDs use less electricity than incandescent, halogen, fluorescent and metal halide lighting to produce similar light. Actual savings depend on the fixtures replaced, operating hours and any controls added.

Can you retrofit our existing fixtures?

In many cases, yes. Troffers, recessed cans and many common commercial fixtures can be converted to LED. We will recommend a retrofit or a full fixture replacement based on what the building has.

Do you work with businesses and multifamily properties?

Yes. Most of our work is for business owners, commercial property owners and managers, apartment owners and HOAs, and we also take on residential lighting upgrades. Contact us about your property and we will let you know which services fit your building type.

Which programs may apply to LED lighting upgrades?

Depending on the property and location, programs such as SoCalREN, MEA and CAMR may support lighting upgrades. Each program sets its own eligibility and incentives, which can change. Commercial and multifamily rebate programs may apply; we check eligibility before work starts.

What color of LED light should we choose?

LEDs come in a range of color temperatures. Warm white (about 2700K to 3000K) suits lobbies, restaurants and hospitality spaces, while neutral white (about 3500K to 4000K) works well in offices, warehouses, parking garages and work areas. We help you choose for each space.

How long do LED lamps last?

Quality LEDs typically last many times longer than incandescent lamps, which means fewer maintenance calls and less ladder or lift work. Actual lifespan depends on the product, operating hours and conditions.
